To assign printers to Queue, please select the queue from the Select List and in the Assigned Printers section click on the “Add Printer” button.
A pop-up window will appear. Select the Printer and the printer type that you want to add from the List.
On the Add Printer window, the RAW, TEXT, Postscript and PCL data type also can be selected.
TEXT - Data Type
When TEXT type is selected, the printer will print out the print jobs as plain text, without any formatting.
The Text data type is compatible with the Black Ice Software Virtual printers to convert text files to PDF or TIFF format.
Font settings
Font: List of installed fonts on your system. (The default font type is “Courier New”)
Size: Font size. (The default font size is 10 point)
Filter UNIX/Mac text files
Attempts to fix the double line-spacing that might occur when printing files with inconsistent line endings.
Different operating systems use different character combinations to signal the end of a line in a text file.
This filter fixes incorrect line endings that occur when a text file is modified on multiple different operating systems such as MAC, Linux, UNIX, or Windows.
In addition, some files contains inconsistent line endings, (E.g.: CR, CR, LF), these line endings are replaced with a single carriage return/line feed (CR,LF) character combination.
The TEXT type is recommended for only text document, where the document formatting is dispensable.
PostScript - Data Type
The Postscript data type is recommended to convert PostScript files to PDF and TIFF file format using the Black Ice Software Virtual printer driver.
The Postscript data type option requires the GhostScript to be installed on the computer. GhostScript can be downloaded from the following link:

Once GhostScript is installed, the BiLPDManager will automatically detect GhostScript.
Open the BiLPDManager, go to Add Printers to Queues > and select the Queue from the list.
If you already have a printer added to the Queue, click on the Modify Settings button, and otherwise click on the Add Printer button.
Select the printer you would like to print the incoming postscript documents, and select Postscript option.
Click OK to save the changes.
RAW - Data Type
When RAW type is selected, the BiLPDManager puts the print Job on the Printer Queue as is. Raw data type can be used to print PostScript files on the PostScript physical or virtual printer. The Raw data type is not compatible with the Black Ice Virtual printers.
NOTE: If no queue has been configured yet, navigate to the Queue Settings tab, and configure the print queue first. For more information, please refer to the Queue Settings section.
PCL - Data Type
The PCL data type is recommended to convert PCL, PXL and PX3 files to PDF and TIFF file format using the Black Ice Software Virtual printer driver.
The PCL data type option requires the GhostScript to be installed on the computer. GhostScript can be downloaded from the following link:

Once GhostScript is installed, the BiLPDManager will automatically detect GhostScript.
Open the BiLPDManager, go to Add Printers to Queues > and select the Queue from the list.
